Admission arrangements

As a Community School, we follow the Norfolk County Council policy for admissions to schools. The law states that children must start statutory education full-time at the beginning of the term that follows their fifth birthday.

Children can start school earlier than the law allows or parents may defer their child’s entry into school until later in the year. If you inform us that you wish to delay your child’s entry the place will be held and not offered to another child. The place must be taken up by the start of the Summer Term.

Children may start school at the beginning of the Autumn Term in the year before their fifth birthday.

Admissions to school are co-ordinated by the Admissions team at County Hall, and parents of all children who are due to start school, will receive a booklet and preference form directly from Norfolk County Council.

For all the information relating to school admissions, including for those children with SEND, please visit the Norfolk Schools Admission website.

If you have any questions about applying for a place at our school, please contact us for details. For further information on the Admissions process, please contact the Admissions team at Norfolk County Council on 0344 800 8001.
