Key Stage One

At KS1, the results are based on Teacher Assessment using the test papers as an indicator of pupil attainment.

Key Stage Two

At KS2, SATs results for Reading, Maths and VGPS (Vocabulary, Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling) are based on test papers, which are independentally marked. Writing is based in Teacher Assessment.
