Get Your Game On!

Whole School project – Get your game on!

We have devised our next whole school project based on the topic, ‘Get you game on!‘. This is a project that will focus on sports and healthy living – to make up for missing our school’s Healthy Living Week!

All the teachers have contributed ideas that pupils can complete at home – either on their own or alongside a sibling, if they have one. The work can be done at their own level and each activity relates to sports and healthy living in some way. This overview can be downloaded by clicking on the appropriate box in the download section.

Teams!

Hopefully everyone has now received their new Office 365 emails and have been able to login to Teams? As soon as this is all up and running, we will start uploading our weekly work there and will be setting a weekly assignment to be handed in. Guides about accessing work on Teams and handing in work will be coming out soon.

Home learning

As a school, we will continue to:

  • Continue to contact every family weekly, to maintain support. This will be through a mixture of emails and phone calls.
  • Maintain class email addresses so that families have direct contact with their class teachers.
  • Ask that each child submits one piece of writing per week via the class emails. These pieces will be read by the class teacher and feedback will be given.
  • Provide daily English and maths lessons. We have tried to devise activities that do not require a lot of printing and are constantly reviewing our practice to make this possible. Most of our activities can be viewed on the screen and work written in exercise books. Should you require a new exercise book, please do not hesitate to contact the school office and we can arrange for one to be collected.
